Programming ESC - Team Orion Vortex R10
 

I have an older team Orion vortex R10 speed control. I want to program it to run more optimal for my preferred track. Am I able to purchase any third party program device (ie: spectrum or hobbywing esc programing box)? I just want to confirm that I don’t have to buy a Team Orion Speed Control Box as these are discontinued.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You will need to find and use the Team Orion box, however some basic settings are programmable via button press and flashing lights on the esc. The Orion boxes are pretty expensive, so unless you can find one cheap and used somewhere it might even make more sense to get a different ESC and programming box.

You can use the online software and a hobbywing 3in1 card if you can find the small adapter that has the sensor wire to esc connector. Sadly that how I have to program mine....the software is really easy though so that's a plus.

So with the 3in1 HW card it will work? Or have to update somethig?
