XR10 Justock programmer issues
 
I have the XR10 Justock and the Programmer port on mine does not work. I plugged in the OTA adapter in and powered on and the light on the programmer port does not come on. I also tried the LED programmer and that does not work either. Do I have a bad ESC?

The portable program card is an optional accessory applicable for field use. Its friendly interface makes the ESC programming easy and quick. Before the programming, you need to unplug the throttle control cable (or Rx cable) from the receiver and plug it into the programming/ESC port on the program box, and then turn on the ESC, all programmable items will show up a few seconds later. You can select the item you want to program and the setting you want to choose via “ITEM” & “VALUE” buttons on the program card, and then press the “OK” button to save all new settings to your ESC.
Did you check the manual?

This is the new Xerun Justock G3 version, with the built in programming port, and not the original that you need to pull the plug from the receiver and connect to programmer, correct?

Are you sure you have the cable plugged in correctly? It can be installed reversed, which would act exactly how you say it does.

I personally use a Servo Cable with the color coded wires on them, so I can check the polarity and orientation between the ESC and Programming Card.

Once I have it plugged in, and confirmed in the correct orientation, I connect my battery, and then power on the ESC. So far i have had no issues with any of my HW ESC's using this method.

Yes. I just got a reply back from Hobbywing and they said that it's either the esc or the Programmer. My friends programmer did not work either.

Hmmm .. interesting, I just purchased one of these new ESC's but have not installed it yet
