Hi all,

I just got back into the hobby after about 8 years. My charger is an old Onyx 230 with an electrifly equinox balancer. The 2s balance lead on the equinox fits my new 2s packs just fine. However, the 3s lead does not fit new 3s packs.

What's the best way around this, and can anyone tell me what the names of the old 3s connectors and new 3s connectors are?

Pretty sure that balancer is wired for Hyperion style balance plugs. The good news is you should be able to get a JST-XH style balance board and move the pins around to make it compatible. There's a good write up of how to do this on this page: All about lipo balance connectors
