Brushed motors question.
Good morning all!!
I was recently given a case of brushed motors. I have zero ide of worth, IF they might be sought after or any real info about them. I have attempted to look them up, but cant fi d much about them. Anyone? I can PM you the pics of the motors. I can't post pictures of them since I have not posted enough..

Depending on how old they are, it could be a complicated question. Sure, back in the day, you had big names like Trinity and Reedy, but you had a ton of motor builders. Most motors were built off of either Yokomo base parts (i.e. Reedy), or EPIC (Trinity). The companies I dealt with all based their motors off of Yokomo parts. These included CAM Motors, East Coast Modifieds, Team Pit Stop and Twister. Depending on where you were, there were regional builders that had a reputation and following in their area, so it would likely be too many to list.
That being said, the biggest thing about older motors is, how good are the magnets in the cans? If the magnets have lost field strength over the years, they might be a wash. Just too many factors to determine the true worth of an old motor.
