Little late to be using "4G" as a buzzword. After my experiences with the 4PX and 7PX, I won't be going back to Futaba anytime soon.

I would think "4G" is referring to 4th Generation of Futaba's FHSS system and 4Ghz transmission..

Cheers..

Upon closer look does read 4th generation of 2.4ghz system not going with 4ghz system. 4ghz will surely reduce transmission range.

4GHz might not even be allowed, there are regulations around spectrum usage.

4G is a mobile phone network technology. I only can not imagine you can put in a sim card and go on the internet with it.

Yes, the mobile phone technology is the first association I have when reading "4G". "4th generation" is next. However, never would "4GHz" have crossed my mind in that context...

F-4G. That's all it says. So just a new protocol from Futaba. Don't read anything extra into it.

Will be interesting to see if these new mini receivers have any backwards compatibility.

It isn't allowed in the US. It would have to be up in 5GHz bands.

What bad experience with Futaba did you have? Been using Futaba since the mid 80s never had an issue. Thoroughly curious what happened.

Also where is the world did you get 4ghz? 2.4ghz is superior.. only way to make it better would be to go to 1.2ghz but that wont happen.
