So I bought a second hand MyLaps transponder. The number on it isn’t coming up on MyLaps when I try to register it.

On the back side it looks like it says myrc3. Does that mean it’s a RC3 transponder? It does have 3 wires. So my question is did the RC3 transponder come in a 3 wire?

is my issue strictly related to previous owner not disconnecting the transponder from his account?

looking for any ideas.

Most transponders were never registered and that's why it's not showing up. I own 8 that I purchased used over the years and none were registered either. Not a necessity. 3 wire is the latest and now it comes in Black too. The chart listed in the other post will explain this better.
