Need help using my Hyperion 1420i

Hi guys, I have this charger and the manual is not describing every case scenario and therefore as I'm not very experienced with batteries and charger, I'm a bit lost and will have serveral questions, but let's start with charging nimh batteries.

Do I just have to connect them in series launch the automatic mode and voila? Also can I use 7,2v 5000 mah and mix with others of 6000mah? Can they be unevenly discharged?

Can I charge 4 battery packs in series?

I'd really apreciate a little help on that as with batteries I'm far from an expert.

Never mix NiMh batteries. Different rest charge in each battery and their different capacity can ruin the peak detection.

thanks guys.
ok so they have to be same capacity.

About the balance connector, there is no balance connector on nimh...!
uneven discharge is possible though? the charger should detect it?

I would HIGHLY recommend you only charge one pack at a time. If you don't know what you are doing, things can go real bad. For what it's worth the manual doesn't describe this scenario, because it's not meant to charge multiple packs. Yes some people can trick a single pack charger into charging multiple packs, but they know what they are doing.

No to multi batteries .dint notice the nimh. only 1 pack at a time.

I guess this is probably safer, thanks guys.
It apears I can charge 2 lipos at a time though, with this time. So same brand and specs I presume.
Would you not recommend to do that either?

It isn't designed to do that. If you don't know what you are doing, stick to what is supported.
