Noob help
I everyone, um new here and new to RC and have no idea what im doing but i know what i want to do, a NOT very fast RC boat.
Not sure if ume gonna use two motors for throttle and a servo for the ruder of if um just gonna use two separated motors and no rudder. i wanna do someyhing cheap at begin and if i enjoy it i will make a new one later. Got the remote ordered already, a microzone mc7. The receiver says 4.5v to 6v. Now i have alots of questions about esc, batteries and.motors 😅 The BEC output must be between 4.5v and 6v correct? And how many amps?!? The amps are based on the receiver specs or servo specs or both? Can i use two 18650 batteries in series? 20A CDR and 3000mah each (have alots of.those from vaping). I dont want a fast boat. How.to.chose the motors and how to chose esc amps? And if you have 2 esc. Both need to connect to batteries or just one? Can you connect 2 motors to same esc? Tyvm. |
Good luck you have a big task ahead of you.. I think the batteries are your limiting point . you can use batteries in series or parallel.depends on voltage and amp needs..in order to do dual motor than can turn boat you will want to use 2 esc with radio mixing. best of luck. the rx gets voltage from esc bec. if you run 2 you will want to disconnect center wire on 2nd esc(+ wire) . cant run 2 becs into rx

The receiver says 4.5v to 6v. So I need at least two 18650 in serie correct? Noticed the ESCs have a bec voltage value, só that value must be anything between 4.5 and 6v correct? The ESCs also have a bec Amps, i dont see any amps requirement on the receiver. How do i know how many amps do i need in the receiver? Or the amps on the receiver are only for servos? |
A receiver's current draw is negligible compared to the servos, any BEC will be able to power a receiver.
