Odd servo behavior with max throw

I bought one of those cheap 20kg servos off Amazon to put into a basher Arrma. Currently it's running a DX5C radio with a SR6100AT receiver. With all trim zero'd out and travel set to 100% the servo has limited travel maybe around 70°. If I just straight swap in the stock Arrma servo it has full 90° of rotation.

I thought maybe it's hitting some sort of mechanical limit of the servo so I put into a car running a Noble NB4 and it has full 90° of rotation.

Could it just be some weird combo of the DX5C and this 20kg servo that it won't get full rotation? Even if I crank the travel to 150% in the radio it won't go any farther that 70°. Kind of baffling since I never encountered this before. Has anyone ran into something like this before?

How far does the servo rotate if you move it manually without power?

It just moves around in a continuous circle.

what are the exact specs of servo.. do you know for sure it ha smore than your said 70 degree seep?. seen a few listed with a 70 degree sweep and seen some listed with 210 degree s. gotta know what model it is as in servo #.. you can see what servos sweep really is with a servo tester on auto..

Which brand of ESC do you have in each respective car?

I have seen cases of servo incompatibility with Castle ESC's in the past which is why I ask.

Here is a link to the servo off Amazon
***okay can't post links yet but if you search for DS3218 Pro on Amazon it's that one.***
The car it's going into is a friend's Typhon 3S which I believe runs a BLX100 esc. I tested in one of my cars running a Noble NB4 with HW XR8 SCT esc and it gets a normal amount of throw.

I think one of my chargers has a servo tester port but I've never used it. I can see about checking it that way.

Just strange that it changes that much depending which car it's plugged into. First real time dealing with a cheap servo so this could be one of the reasons it's so cheap lol

Does the DX5C have different frame rate settings? If so I would try going with the lowest frame rate to see if that helps.

it says 180 angle so id check what bill has said frame rate of radio

Yeah that was of the settings I was messing with yesterday. I just tried it again but made no difference. Tried rebinding and re-calibrating with and without AVC. I think I messed with every setting available lol.

I created a small adjustable turnbuckle to replace the stock fixed arm. I think if I made it a few mm longer than the stock arm it would compensate for the lower range of motion.

I have a couple DS3218 servos, one in a sct410 with a radiolink transmitter, 1 in a slash and 1 In a cheap redcat, both with crap RTR radios. All work just fine and full throw
