Need help with Sanwa MT44
So guys and girls,
I bought myself a MT44 but I am struggling with the setup of the 3rd channel. I want to use the 3rd channel to switch the lightbar on and off on my Axial Exo Terra. How do I program that in the menu? I want to use the SW1 on the radio. SW1 is the button in the grip. |
You can find the manual online if you do not have it.

Post 45 on the MT44 thread
Here you go ........Here let me google that for you
on the menu click into AUX and the set it from there Hope that works 👍🏻 |
These answers about the radio manual missing an important point... do you have a light controller hooked up to the light bar? You will not be able to switch the power on and off to a particular channel from the radio. The receiver will always be putting power out of the negative and positive connections on each channel, and only the signal over varying the signal wire. If you've got the light connected directly to the receiver without a light controller, it will just stay on.

-Go to system > key assign > set sw2 (the one I used) to aux2 step (function) and toggle (mode) -Go to CUSTOM then to whatever page your switch is set to. Mine is page 3 because I set it to aux 1. -Set epa's to 100. - Go back to main menu and go to setting and the channel's page. -Set D/R to 100 and TRIM type to cent. |
Which light controller are you using?

Part of the explanation you mentioned above say Aux 1, then part say aux 2... don't confuse these! Try this...
Plug the light controller in to channel 3 on the receiver. Double check the LED is plugged in with the correct polarity on the lights. Go to the AUX menu. Set Aux1 to 'point'. Choose 2 points. Set point 1 to L100, and point 2 to H100. Set the mode to 'toggle'. Go the System menu, then 'Assign'. Set one of your switches to AUX1. Verify this is working by activating the switch you chose while watching the output display on your radio. You should see the bar move from low to high with each press of the switch. If this is all working but without controlling the lights, then there is either a problem with your light controller, your wiring or lights. |
Does yours have also a 2 wire connector? If so then I wonder how it would switch because it does not work with the servo signal....

I have the same Roelof. What radio do you have?
|
I have a Futaba T7XC but I do not own a switch.
That one will not be controlled by a channel, you have no 3rd (white) wire with which the servo control is done. So how does the switch work, no manual with it? |
Doesn't come with a manual. Also the decription of Mushroomed doesn't work. When I plug the licht in to the 3rd channel it only lights permanently, no control of the channel. I can not adjust the the 2 steps. They stay permanent on zero.

Probably it is just an electronic push button on/off switch. For sure this will not work as a RC controlled switch. If I am right then the square opject in the middle under the shrinkwrap is a push button.
You do need another switch module to switch the lights by an RC channel. |
