Super tomcat mark 2 schematic
 

Hi all only new here and recently bought a couple of dead cb radios, a Pearce Simpson supertomcat mark 1 and a super tomcat mark11 , yes I’d have to say double trouble lol
ive found a elect cap has leaked out or cooked by the look of it and a diode that got so hot it crumbled when I touhed it with a little screwdriver !
the only problem I have is not with the cap but I need to find a schematic so as I can replace the diode with the right one as this is cooked that bad there’s no way to know , my question is can I try something like a N4003 or similar? Or maybe someone on the forum may have a schematic to tell me what belongs, thanks in advance!!
