Steering servo spline compatibility?
I have a turnigy 1250tg servo; however, my servo saver that came with my old HPI E10 that I'm trying to resurrect will not work with it, neither will the adapters for the hot racing servo saver I had laying around. There's lot of info out there for the big three, e.g. futaba, hi-tec, and JR/spektrum, but noting I could find easily on this turnigy servo.
Anyone here have any ideas on what spline this 1250tg is compatible with, and what servo saver would work with it? |
Apparently that servo has a 25 tooth spline so should be compatible with the Futaba fitting. Although I have found that some cheap servos and servo savers have pretty poor tolerances.

Whats the diameter of the futaba spline? These don't seem to fit the 1250tg.

I used to run the Turnigy 1251 servo many years ago and I recall it using standard 25T splines perfectly fine... I did use only "clamp" style servo horns so you get the best fit, here's an example:
