This tech isn't new by most standards, the US airforce built some back in 2005, and the micro ones were designed a decade ago.

I don't see how this would work for our use case. It'll need to support burst loads, meaning quickly ramping up and down the power output. Nuclear generators are pretty poor at rapid ramping of power output. And when the battery is not in use, the nuclear fuel will still decay, and since that's not being converted into electrical energy, it'll just get dumped as heat.
Also, pretty sure that the amount of radioactive material to generate a powerful enough battery would be illegal, as it would be too easy for someone to build a dirty bomb with it.
