RC4 Pro Transponder Quit reading

has anybody else had this happen. Read fine for good couple months. Then just quit reading. Still powers up. Tried running it across the loop in a couple different vehicles and still doesn’t read.

anybody else had any issues with this more specifically the pro version

If other transponders are counted then yours is broken and there is not much you can do. You can contact a Mylaps repair center or look arround if there is an exchange possibillity

Depending on the timing software it could be rejecting your transponder due to inactive membership. Check with race control to eliminate that possibility.

Did the track recently upgrade/downgrade their decoder software?

Note that RC3 is not compatible with the RC4 Pro:

Speak to the race director and see if the decoder is registering any signal strength as your transponder crosses the line. If the signal is weak, it is possible that it is below the threshold to count as a lap.

It is possible to adjust this threshold in the software, but it may be easier to just try your transponder in a different orientation (try vertically behind the servo, on top of the servo, as low as possible on the chassis etc.).

Last time I checked, they don't repair them but will sell you one at a lower than retail price.
