Alternative USB adapter for VRC Pro
Does anyone know of an alternative USB adapter that is available to purchase and use with VRC Pro?? It seems the one they sell branded by 9Turbo is always out if stock. I know a few people that want to jump online and play, but can't find an available USB adapter.

Wow, that's an impressive work around, but not for your average person looking for a plug and play. If that could be made as a plug and play, I'm sure you could sell a ton of them right now!

The Arduino SS and 2 servo cables can be found on Aliexpress for not more than 5 dollar, follow the software steps and solder the wires and you are ready. Probably if you look arrround you will know someone who is playing with arduino's.
And yes, many commercial products are based on the same. |
Just buy it from NL you’ll have it in 8 days.

Either there or the Thailand store. Nobody else can keep them in stock. |

The Netherlands. Their company store in Europe. 8 days to my door in the PacNorthWest. Pre-covid though. YMMV.

The Actual VRC-Pro site...
Doesn’t matter now, I can’t even find it on the VRC site and Thailand (9Turbo site) is temporarily out of stock. More coming this month though. I wonder if VRC is rejigging their payment plan? https://9turbo.com/shop/index.phpmain_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_i d=24&zenid=iov2rqc3sfs51tpq20l8s21i32 |
USB to DSC Simulator + any radio with a DSC port, cheapest radio I know is the FlySky FS-GT2
I have personally tested this combo with VRC many years ago and it worked quite well, no need to hook up to a Rx making it very practical. |
I put together a quick video guide for making a DIY USB adapter that will work with VRC:

Very Nice
Is there one for futaba? Thanks |
billdelong- Mouser electronics still have stock available of the Itsy Bitsy M4 and Trinket M0
The default version of Colin’s code will work with Futaba on regular mode, but I don’t believe there is a high speed ‘SR’ version yet. |
