Just to respond, i am able to drain the battery, after it went into limp mode we ran it around the yard for another full hour nearly and got a full charge out of MAH wise, and it again, lasted only 7min. Losi was kinda enough to send me a new ESC thinking that may be it, but it was def not it. I charged it up ONE more time to put in a co-worker's truck which is identical to mine and still got only 6ish min out of it. So this battery is going to go into the backup pile and i'll just need to order a not crappy one, my own fault for trying to save a few bucks getting an "off" brand unit.

Did you read the post you replied to? They specifically said run down until it cuts out several times to verify. If it doesn't improve, return it.

That method doesn't check how much capacity has been drained... for example, if he has a 5Ah pack but only 2Ah of capacity is charged back into it based on what the charger reads, then I would agree that the pack is bad, but if 4.5Ah+ is showing, then I would say he's getting full capacity of the pack.

There could be other issues causing premature drain, such as an overheated motor, bent shaft in the drive train, improper gear mesh, etc...

He needs to figure out how much capacity is going into the pack from a fully discharged state first.

It cost you a few dollars but it is wise to get a battery checker, then you can read the battery its voltage in total and per cell to see if it is the battery or not..

He does not need that his B6 will show him that info while charging.. if he know how to see battery status in the meter he can push 3rd button while charging or b4 charge starts

Yes, but the B6 can not give you the info w/o any charge pulse. And it is interesting to see if the voltage did really drop down that much when the LVC of the ESC did come in.

Since this seems to be a hot topic, i'll update my co worker bought a Dynamite Reaction s2 20C 5000mah battery with his truck and we ran it in my Losi, and the car lasted 32min on a full charge, so yea, battery is trash.

Now i just need to figure out a good battery for a basher. too many choices, any suggestions?

Lectron is not an offbrand battery. My 6S is a badass battery and I know some racers that, well race with 2s lectron pros.

Zeee or the super cheap brands only sold on ebay and small sites are off brand. 35C may be a lower end battery from them (compared to my 100c) but I bet they would warranty it if you provided all this info to them. You probably just got one that sat too long and the voltage got too low before you got it. Or its just faulty, some bad parts can get past QC.

I'm working with Amain now on returning it, but with the virus the process is not going quickly, which is to be expected.6.8.0
