ORCA VX3 ESC Programming
 

Hoping someone can assist me with a headache I am having with a VX3 ESC
I have an Orca Program box.

When I plug it into the ESC It comes up with "Team_ORCA Program GLADIATOR"

But i only ever get 6 settings that i can change.

1 Running Mode

2 Rev Power Mode

3 Battery Mode

4 Start Mode

5 Timing Mode

6 Drag Brake

7 Send Parameter

I don’t have any other settings like Punch Turbo etc that I can alter.

I have a cable from the ESC port on the ESC to Program box. I have used this cable and the same results are presented.

And i have the USB Cable. I have plugged this into the ESC with the ORCA software and the ESC is recognized and that is all. No ability to enter in any settings and make changes etc.

I have also connected the Program box to the USB Cable to try and update the firmware on that box. When that is done the display just flashes. As soon as that happens I unplug straight away.

Hoping someone may be able to give me some instructions \ tips on how I can access the settings on the ESC to enable it to be used to its maximum potential.

What is the running mode currently set to?

You may need to go into 'advance setup' menu and choose 'modify mode' not 'stock mode'.

I'm not sure about updating or pc link with the ORCA program boxes but if you don't figure it out, email them [email protected] and I'm sure they'll help you get it sorted out.

No Luck. Might be time for an upgrade to a newer ESC
