LiPo Battery Help!

Hello all,

I am in need of a specific LiPo battery and cannot seem to find it, starting to think it might not exist.

here are the specs I need

number of cells - 2
Mah - 5000 ( could go lower but would like to get as close to or above 5000 )
case - hard ( I prefer hard cases so the leads can come up straight but in this case I would take hard or soft cases )

ok real specs now.

Length - under 5” ( ideally under 4 1/4, but I can make a 5” battery work )
Width - under 1 1/2” ( this is the hardest part as anything over 1 5/8” will rub on the drive shaft )
Height - under 1” ( now this is also a problem because I have a lip over the drive shaft brace that is beveled out. So I need this under 1”)

even more specs if possible

discharge rate - 50c < ...
charge rate - 1c < ....

would like to see well known brand but as of right now any brand that actually has these specs will be fine.

thank you for all your help.

It doesn't exist. Every hard case I've seen has a fairly standard width of 1.9". Second, Lipo technology hasn't advanced to the power density you're looking for. The best capacity you could expect from a battery that size is around 2200mah. Something like this Turnigy 2250mah softpack which is 4" x 1.38" x .75"

What exactly are you putting a lipo in?? Even a shorty doesn’t live up to those dimensions!
You may have to contact omg Maxx amps or maclan.

MCL6016

Maclan HV Graphene V3 2S LiPo ULCG Battery (7.6V/5500mAh)

not sure on dimensions, might be too long.

Another option is to assemble multiple smaller packs in parallel to get the desired capacity though not sure how much "power density" can be squeezed into the space needed, then use a 3D printer to create a custom hard case... if you find the desired packs you want to combine, I will offer my services to create a custom 3D printed hard case for a nominal fee.
