I have the KST BLS159 Low Profile Brushless Digital Metal Gear Servo and stripped a gear.
Anyone know the right gear set I could get to replace the stripped gear and fix my servo?

I’m patiently waiting as well. I’m in touch with KST often(ish). It’s tomorrow in China when it’s today in the U.S., if that makes sense. So it was already their weekend when this came up. I’ll let you know when they let me know and they’re back in the office for the week.

I haven’t forgot about you. I’ve been emailing back-and-forth with KST and the slight language barrier and different time zone isn’t exactly convenient... but that’s why they have people like me in the U.S. to help sort everything out for you! I’ll have your answer soon.

I read your review on Amain of the servo. I understand the frustration. Amain(or any other online store) does not carry the gear set for this servo. You have to ask Amain to import the gear set for the BLS159 Low Profile Servo from KST(this was told to me by KST). If they say they can’t do it, then tell me. I will handle that as well. I’m doing everything in my power to get you this gear set.

Ok, let’s see here. I believe Amain Hobbies is the primary U.S. distributor for KST Servos. I’m not really happy with this situation. It shouldn’t be this hard to get a gear set for your servo. I have an idea- You could send an email to Amain and CC me. Tell Amain that I, KST’s only driver in the industry have been in touch with you and KST to help you get what you need. KST told me that if you asked Amain for a KST product or part that isn’t in their inventory, Amain would order the part from KST and then ship it to you.

Or, we can cut out Amain, essentially the “middle man,” and order directly from KST. I think this could be a better idea. Email [email protected] and CC me(not BCC). I’ll PM you my email(for this purpose only) if you would like to do this.
