Default I newer use Lipo guard or Storage load my Lipos.

hELLO

i have use Lipo cars about 10 years now.

Drive more than 2000runs

i have never use lipo case

i always charge them full, balanche charge.

then i drive next day or two

,
i have good charger, and overall ratios

i dont need lipo case, or storage charge,

why do you use this alltime ? never happen anything anyways if you have decent charger and overall use it.

Have more than 80 runs each and they are still strong

My first two years was crap in this brushless and lipos
almost every one swollen up , and everything was chaos almost only,.

The latest 2 years has been success only.
Cheap banggood lipos also is good today

enjoy

Really a new topic? The same post:
7000 mah 3s 11.1v good and cheap

Well, good for you! Let me remind you that LiPo batteries are unstabel things, even with correct usage there is a slight chance of sudden explosion. Here a pic of an overnight storage at a German track, ay 3AM the fire department needed to come over.

All people who say "no problem" are stupid. It is not about it will not happen but all about that one moment it can/will happen. Because a LiPo fire is not easy to take out (not by water anyway) the damage can be huge.
But hey, it is your stuf, your house and your life.

All tracks "REQUIRE" Lipo charging sacks for safety AND insurance purposes. If you use the batteries daily, no reason for storage, only when letting them sit idle for week/more.

I believe we need mini safety metal fire proof box all ?
Lipo those silver dont protect fully

The only real safe thing is put metal mini safety box on granite stone ?

Stab a lipo outdoors so you can see how much fire it makes. Then store your lipos accordingly. That track picture, lol, you mean that lipos stored on towels soaked in flammable tire treatment is a bad idea?

Mine sit on a non flammable table over a concrete floor, or in a metal container. People keep cars in attached garages, and have rodent chewed electrical wires everywhere, yet a dinky little lipo is terrifying? Some common sense is required, but knee jerk hysteria isn't.

Wtf is up with that video? I don't recall seeing any mention of my little lipo sack meant for 1s and 2s on road packs, being safe for a giant 6cell airplane battery.

i have one room that is totally concrete only that i dont use

i will move my lipos there

have them in the middle of the room on metal table

i dont panic charge ever
i have many lipos and two dual port chargers, i can charge 4 packs same time
i do it always balance and like 2-3 amp max even if my batteries are all 5000mah or more
I know i can balance charge them 5amps also

i anyway to it slow

the risk is much higher if you charge lipos like 10 or 20 amps i believe

You also need concrete surrounding , maybe make a large box of concrete that stays far away from walls or things that easy catch fire

My concrete room is about 15c plus summertime
and colder like 12 celsius plus wintertime.

Is these okey temps ?

when storage them and also charge

Charging at low amps seems to hurt my batteries more than 40amp cycles. My gently cared for batteries are often way out of balance as they age. I've noticed a pattern that my charger struggles to balance batteries from the ''slow charge'' era. Could also be just age.

I have lived in my house for 10 years, over 3500 days and not a single fire so I threw away my fire extinguisher and smoke alarms. Why do you guys use/keep a fire extinguisher? No need for it, just throw it away.

Sound stupid and risky?

Ill never not have a fire extinguisher in every room and a smoke detector also...

Why not be cautious, as Roelof stated we already had a post on this!

And that Bat Safe has been proven not safe at all times as well. For the sake of using common sense, If things come with a warning label its there for a reason. If the Fire Marshal determines the fire if it should happen, was caused by your neglect, or lord forbid someone gets hurt... how would that go down with you??? Do you go out and cut wood with a chainsaw, wearing shorts and flip flops??? I mean Come on!

Perhaps what you do is your business, but unfortunately some newer Hobbyist may come on here and read your Thread, and what should they make of that???

Its better to adhere to the warning the manufacturer states, as such, it never can hurt to be prepared rather than take unnecessary risks....
