3pv Fail Safe/throttle return question

I’m curious what springs are acceptable for returning the throttle in the event of a receiver power loss/switch turned off. I set up my 3pv and did do the connection fail safe, but it seems that is only for loss of power at the radio. It seems loss of power to the receiver or me turning the switch off as if we’re bumped, doesn’t do anything. The return springs I’ve tried see to not have enough tension to bring back the throttle servo to idle/neutral point. And tips or tricks?

It is called a return spring, there are several topics to find about the same subject.

There are official springs to find, like HPI and Kyosho has them. Some people use the 1st piece of a baloon, others use a hair band but basically any spring/band can work if you can make it fit.

Ended up using my fiancé’s Ouchless/scrunchi hair ties doubled over. It’s oretty efficient and I have a ton of them
