Unruly DX5PRO

I have a dx5pro. I was changing the wheel and angle today. I not sure what I did but I cannot get the wheel to turn now. I paid much $$$ and I don’t really want to listen to the wife “ you just got it and you went and broke it”. Nag nag nag voice inserted. I am of course talking from experience.

If anyone can save me from this horrible horrible horrible experience I would forever be in your dept.

Did you switch the wheel cam? I'm only wondering since my DX6R came with a separate can for the small wheel.

Also, in the 6R thread, people had an issue early on after changing the wedge, turned out they where over tightening the screws.

Thanks knockoffracer j was going to change the wedge but I was afraid of destroying the connection on back. I never loosened them. The only screws I took off where the two holding the wheel assembly.

I was looking on the Spektrum site at the DX5 PRO. It states you need to use the 36* cam for the small wheel. Did you use that cam? The cams are apparently sold separately, kind of stupid, part number SPM9055.

I just purchased the optional small Black DX5/DX6R wheel, and it comes with the smaller cam (purchased ahead of the radio, because I wanted to make sure my old Kimbrough wheel horn fits on it :) ). Makes sense, since it is mentioned that the cam is required to use it.
