Does anyone know Why Nick Adams didn't test the Team Orion Li-Po batteries?
Thank you |

Hello, can you tell what's the name of the OEM, i'm interested. Thank you
For me, LRP packs have been excellent. Look at what the A-main in the ETS uses, it can give you a direction on what to choose. I have not had luck with LRP. Bought two high end packs and both had very high IR. I consider a good pack to be 1.5-.5 IR per cell, on my icharger. The LRP packs had 2.5-2.8 per cell. |
I actually have 2 team Orion 3200mah 120c graphene lipos, and I think they work just fine. Super light, good punch. I can totally tell the power fading out during the run, but probably because it's a 3200mah

It's not a good thing if you can really feel a pack fading out during a run.

I wouldn't reserve them for practices either, just sell them. You want your practice setup to be close to, if not identical to your racing setup.

I run Team Orion Carbon Pro 5800mah 110c Li-Po(s).
Been running them for over 3-months (13-runs). I haven't had any problems with these batteries so-far. I just would like to see some-kind of a pro-test on these batteries. Thanks for everyone's insite. |

I like GensAce batteries. I have used one for 3 years and it's still one of my stronger packs.

The LRP packs had 2.5-2.8 per cell. i still use my 3 year old lrp 8000 spec lipo and around 1.6 /cell. my friend european champion use also lrp and saw 0.8 /cell on a hot day. |
And as usual everyone is promoting their experience with as result no clear answer of a brand that sticks out....
Face it, as long you are no team driver getting batteries with selected cells, you as a normal consumer has to do with what you get. As someone says to get a model from brand X because he had a good battery there is no garantee if you buy one you get the same specs. Luck is a huge factor. |
Good Grief. Hydrogen in R.C. Cars...? The hobby is getting crazy. (isn't Li-Po enough?)
(Thanks for the info) |
Totally agree with @dawgmeat, IP Lipos is the best.

Associated Reedy Wolfpack HV-liPo 7.6V 4200mAh 50C ShrtIm thinking of buying this its right around the $50 price range new - and from what im told 30c would even be fine in the setup.in any case as I understand after talking with people about this and reading is that the C rating on this has to do with discharge rates? in any case is there some reason why this battery would NOT be good for racing aspect? I would like to ask twice before buying once wrong fully. Thanks in advance as always! |
