Dry Cell

I am sure this is common with most receivers now but the receiver that comes with a Futaba 4PV, a R304SB says NEVER USE DRY CELL BATTERIES as power for the receiver. I assume they are talking about regular AA batteries like we used 15 years ago. But I am not electrical engineer and would call all the batteries we use dry, not wet cell like car battery... So my question I guess is it fine to use NiMH battery pack? I assume it is but figure I would check, I cant find anything using the search function and google was over loaded with crap...

No zinc carbon or alkaline batteries.
Even though alkaline batteries have a large capacity and some have decent discharge rates they are really not to be used at all in rc vehicles nitro or electric.

Yes nimh is not a dry cell. It is a sealed cell.
