Default Ammo can power box/charger storage project.

Thought I would share a project I always wanted to complete and now its done/going to add more eventually.

I started with the classic HP server power supply which supplies 900 watts of stable 12.8 volt dc when connected to 120volt AC. It does 1200 at 240 volt!

Then I got some mountable xt60 plugs. Got to work with a file and a dremal. Added a 24 volt step up converter for some 5.5 mm barrel plus for my ts100 solder iron. Gonna add some USB plugs and maybe a variable dc source eventually.

Now me and anyone else I go to the track with can plug into my power supply and my charger and accessories can fit inside for easy transport. Plus I can fit some shorty lipos inside but I normally just leave them in the cars.

Enjoy and Yes I know the AC terminals Inide the box are exposed, no touchy.

Nicadrauspro4 and Bry195 like this.
