hey guys, I figure this is a good place to ask this question rather than open a new thread.
I have been out of the racing scene now for a good few years.
Before my break I used a 4PLS.

My question is should I keep the 4PLS or get this noble?
will I notice any gains or advancements in the noble?

Thanks

i joined the forum just to thank you guys for providing such helpful information regarding this transmitter. the updates, the bluetooth port, the response time information, everything. i am sure that many people have seen the thread and would say what im saying now, so again thank you! my noble will be here by the end of the week.

i plan on doing a similar modification to the handle like the one posted above, so that i can swap out the 18650 whenever. conveniently i have a few 3000mah 18650s on hand. thanks again for sharing the internals information.

i sure would really really really appreciate a set glare shield and bottom pieces...good lord the biohazzard wheel is amazing....wish i had a 3d printer!! but paypal is ready

Hi guys,
I'm quite interested to buy this remote. Has anybody used the Noble together with VRC? I found a video on youtube (from DutchRC) and it should be possible to connect the remote via USB and it can be recognized as a joystick. But in the specs this feature is never mentioned, also it is not mentioned in the manual, too.
I have a feeling, the manual ist not up to date with the software version.

Any help?

Thanks,
Andreas

I don't own the Noble, but I have used older versions of FlySky radios with VRC using the DSC port on most and also using the USB port on the GT3C. Not sure if you will experience the same issue but something to plan for is that the USB would not charge the radio while using VRC due to how the USB Simulator was wired up so to get around that I chose to splice into the USB using a donor USB to plug into the PC and wired up the Yellow wire from the PC to the white wire from GT3C and un-shielded braided wire together to get the radio to charge while in use:

This requires 2 open USB ports, one for the USB simulator and the other to actually charge the radio:

Final test with VRC before soldering the wires and covering with heat shrink:

I'll try today and let you know. It should just work via plugging in by USB.

can all flysky radios just be plugged into PC to use VRC? VRC is stupidly expensive, especially the adapter and the fact it hasnt been upgraded since like 2011? lol.

No. Only the ones with USB that support it. The others need to have a DSC port and an adapter.

Alright, just installed VRC to test and it works fine. You just have to turn on Noble emulator in the USB settings under system settings on the TX, plug it into your computer via USB, and let the drivers install automatically.

Good news, thank you for your help!
Just ordered it and I'm really looking forward to try the Noble myself.

Just to clarify, there are 2 types of USB Simulators that work with Fly Sky radios, both have USB adapters that plug into the PC, however the 2 options are a DSC adapter which looks like the same plug used for earphone's and the other style is just a traditional USB cable that plugs into a mini-USB port on the radio.
