The Radiolink has more features, more range, bigger and brighter display, and a more standard ergonomic layout.

The Flysky has better response time, higher build quality, reversible wheel, antenna-less receiver for indoor, and much longer battery life.

This. Always do that whenever you fiddle / change anything related to radio and/or ESC.

I truely wish Flyskys next flagship radio would ship with a monochrome display, that would be the perfect upgrade in my view. One thing I miss about my Lynx 4S is how easy the screen is to read outside regardless how much sunlight there is. I'd gladly give up a few pretty graphics for pure functionality.

Yeah, the display is the main reason I don't use this radio. I have better radios for indoor, and the display makes it nearly unusable outdoor. Also, they only have that giant receiver for outdoor.

All of the receivers have plenty of range. I'm not sure what you mean by "that giant receiver for outdoors."

Ah, my bad, I thought the FGr4S was intended for indoor only, the other one mine came with is the humongous FGr4 at almost two inches long.

Looks like they have quite a few other receivers that I didn't know about, FGr8B, etc.

The FGr4 is comically large, yes. It feels like more of an engineering test platform than anything else, especially when you open it up. That being said I get enough range with the small FGr4S and FGr4P that I turn back because I start having trouble seeing my cars.

Yea, the display is lacking outside but my 4PX and 7PX were no better. At this point, I see no reason in buying any Noble receiver for my Pro that isn't one of the enhanced ones as it's very versatile, much more so over the standard ones.

Range: The Noble line can make use of the Flysky FRM302 and FRM303 modules that extend the range to at least a mile but there are other aftermarket options as well. Most people that complain about range don't run their RC farther than 60 feet from the controller which shows the idiocy is bigger than we realize.

Radiolink: I don't own one but I can only imagine that the screen is just as readable in direct sunlight as most modern smartphones and even that isn't superb. Better the the Noble though? I'd say so if that's the case. I do like how Radiolink plans to release a new faster RX and the fact that you could use a TBS module is you want too, that makes the radio a very tempting purchase. I may pick one up to mess around with. The no drop down option and humongous battery tray/radio base is a huge disappointment. Any modern radio that has a lower base that resembles a Shoe-billed Stork is outrageous.
Speaking of outrageous, the signal block byproduct of the dual antenna Radiolink RX setup isn't ideal.

Default Receiver update failed

Hello everyone,
recently I ordered the NB4 to use with my Mini-z VE (upgraded to EVO).
When binding I had to upgrade the Rx, but at the update of one of my two RX-modules the transmitter was still in two way mode instead of Mini-z mode. The flysky assistent om my computer said that the update was successful, but when I tried to bind that Rx, it won't turn on anymore, no light nothing. I think that the RX has the wrong profile now and doesn't know what it should do. Getting it in force update mode by holding the bind button doesn't work.
Is there a way that I can reset (save) that receiver?
It is a DM version of the FSMiniZRF3
Thanks in advance.

As I haven't yet installed the latest NB4 firmware, I can't claim to be 100% accurate...but, I'm suspecting that, with the most recent NB4 firmware, FlySky might have done the same thing they did with the Pro firmware. With the newest Pro firmware, they've figured out a way to make non-FlySky receivers no longer pair to the Pro. If my assumption is correct, they probably did the same thing with the new NB4 firmware.

When 3rd-party received for the Noble radios first came out, they were priced considerably lower than the prices of the FlySky receivers...so, it made sense to assume (myself, included) to purchase these 3rd-party receivers. However, considering the current minimal price difference between the FlySky & 3rd-party receivers, honestly, there's no reason to not purchase the FlySky receivers...and, with FlySky coming up with ways to 'block' 3rd-party receivers, now, those of us who had originally purchased those 3rd-party received will have to purchase FlySky receivers. Personally, I'm ok with it

It has Infact been confirmed that this situation applies to both the NB4 and the NB4 Pro. There is a fix and that is to bind aftermarket RX in "1 way" mode. This may or may not fix the problem for those that prefer the telemetry capability and have now lost it when binding in that mode. Also, not sure if this fix applies to EVO receivers.
