On a positive note I was able to bind my MR-03 Mini Z without a hitch. The new module was plug, bind, and play!

I wonder if they could update firmware to get a micro SD in the expansion port? At model 19 of 20 right now.

Looks like the pro model is coming next month. Other than inductive charging for the base I'm not sure what the differences will be.

Keeping an eye out for this. SD card expansion for extra models would be nice as mentioned above even though I don't particularly need that.

Why would an SD slot be needed for that? It should be simple enough to do that through a firmware update (if there's enough storage capacity). If there's not enough storage, then, maybe, with the upcoming release, it could (among other things) have additional storage to accommodate additional model memory. It's no different than, say, a phone or tablet...just install a higher-capacity chip.

Contact FlySky suggesting more model memory. They've been receptive to my suggestions in the past.

Sir, you asked then answered your own question.

No...I was simply responding to someone else's post. It was someone else who brought up the SD card.

I've been in contact with William rc at fly sky about it, but looking at the fcc documents for the new model it looks to be an aesthetic and ergonomic upgrade only for the pro model. We will known in a couple days for sure.

That doesn't make any sense, as the FCC has no control over "aesthetic and ergonomic" design. FCC would be related to electronics.

As you said, we'll know soon enough.

There's pictures in the FCC filing... https://fccid.io/document.php?id=5332013

Looks like they've spiced it up with some silver, added wireless charging, and played with the switches (thumb lever on ch4 and maybe redesigned SW5/6. I do not see an SD card slot.

That Ch4 thumb control (if that's what it is), I like. Imagine, on a crawler, setting that to control a 3-position dig...could instantly change dig positions without having to move hands from their position. Or adjusting steering rate on the fly. Or drag brake. Again, to without having to change hand positions. Nice!!!!! As for an SD slot, in regards to expanding model memory capacity, I still don't see any need for one...simply increase internal storage. But, I do see other uses for an SD slot - firmware upgrades, and export/import saved programming, without needing to plug the Tx into a computer (that's how it's done on the Futaba 7PX). An SD slot could be placed almost anywhere (on the 7PX, it's "hidden" behind the 90-degree rotating antenna)
