Futaba 3PK

I have a Futaba 3pk that I am using with m'y crawler. When I turn the transmitter on, a green led flashes juste above the top right corner of the screen. It keeps flashing even if the crawler is on. The led on the receiver is solid green. Why is it flashing?

I'm not absolutely certain of this, but I believe it is an indicator that the failsafe is activated, meaning a set throttle and steering position have been set in case of loss of signal to keep the model from running off in case of loss of signal.
