Default Timing system recommendation for backyard oval/off-road track

I'm looking for suggestions and recommendations on timing systems I can use with my personal oval and off road tracks when racing with my friends. My budget cap is $500, but obviously I'd like to spend less if possible.

At the moment, an ILAPs system is my first choice, but I've been out of the racing scene for a while, so I'm not sure if there are better options that have come out.

The Track is a small dirt oval and a larger offroad section (6 - 8' track width) which can be run on it's own or in conjunction with the oval. Oval lap times are 4-6 seconds while the offroad is 13-25 seconds depending on the layout and vehicle. We primarily run 1/16th and 1/10th scale cars on the oval and 1/10th and 1/8th on the offroad layouts. Car count is usually 3 cars max, but may be higher.

The system NEEDs to be able to score multiple cars during heats and races and record lap times, and the timing loop needs to modular/mobile so it can be moved between the short offroad course and the oval. And, can't be something linked to a specific transmitter/receiver type as multiple different TX/RX systems are used.

I would LIKE if the system can be linked with a smart phone app in addition to PC software. I already have several iLAPs style infrared and AMB transponders on hand, so it's a plus if I can use either of those.

Thanks for any advice. Apologies if this is in the wrong spot or is a frequent repost.

I suggest you look in here, newer system, and really affordable.

Orange Lap RC - detects both I-Lap and Trackmate type transponders.

LapMonitor can times up to 96 cars on the track and has IOS and Android app. PC app currently is available in beta
Regarding your budget and modular/mobile requirements, price is 99$ and installation is placing it on the trackside
