Default Can you adjust the amp rating on a mamba x esc

I have a 1/10 scale castle creations mamba x esc and Iím wanting to know the amp rating on it and can you turn the amp rating up

It doesn't have any sort of current limiting feature. It will provide as much power as the motor requires and the battery can provide.

True to a point but not. If the motor can draw, and the battery can provide more than the esc is capable of then thats not true.

Its impossible to make any adjustments to the amp rating. If you need an esc with a higher amp rating because your system needs more current then you need a new esc with a higher amp rating.

I guess the key thing I was trying to say was that we don't have any software limitations on the current handling ability of the ESC. There is limits to what the Mosfet can do with as fast as they need to switch to run a brushless motor, but the only real restriction is heat causing the ESC to thermal shutdown from too high of sustained current. We rate the Mamba X to run in 1/8th scale buggies on 4s, so most 1/10th scale setups are not going to push it's Mosfet current limits and you are going to be more likely constrained by the motor and batteries.
