Sensored motor reverse direction Help
 

Hey guys i got a brushless setup for my scx10 and the motor is faster in reverse. i tired to switch it over on my remote and fired a motor and esc so i got a replacement and my program card dose not have that option. Is there anyway to reverse the motor. Thanks for any help.

Why are you trying to reverse a sensored motor? They're designed to only work normally in one direction. Reversing the wires will fry something because the sensor board and ESC expect the specific phases to be wired correctly.

When you reversed the direction on the Tx, did you re-calibrate the ESC again?

I don't see any mention of reversing direction in the ESC's settings, nor do I see any mention of which direction the radio needs to be set either, this suggests that reversing the radio direction and re-calibrating should work:

Yes i second recalibrating your esc. Also make sure your throttle EPA is turned up on your transmitter.

If it's an original SCX10, not the SCX10.2 you can flip the transmission and motor plate around giving you the correct motor rotation.
