Servo compatability

I have just returned to RC after almost 20 years. Can I use an older Futaba 9601 servo with my Spektrum DX5C and SR 415 receiver

Yes you can but you have to be sure the frameate is on the slowest setting, I believe it is 16msec

also just make sure you have the plug so the polarity matches up. Sounds trivial I know but people do it all the time when mixing brands

Shouldn't be any issues at all. Can't see why you couldn't use any frame rate available on the 5C/SR415 combo. Have fun and enjoy!!

Because analog servo's do not work with faster framerates.

Because we were talking about the 5C I was wondering which framerates it has. It only has a 16.5ms framerate so you are right that it will work with "all franerates".....
