Soldering Jig

What’s everyone using for a solder jig. I had ordered the “New” version of the Jigs up but they shipped the older version. New version is suppose to not suck all the heat out when using it.

So share what your using.

Thanks
Don

Old version of the jigs up and I love it, I really only use it for pins and bullet connectors. I use a little vise for everything else.

I'd be upset if I bought the new one and received an old one. The new version was released in May 2017.

Probably be gine but that’s not what I ordered, principle I guess.

I've been using this lately. Before I bought it, I'd wrap a tire gluing band around my pliers handles and clamp stuff that way.

oh, deans connectors.

I have been using them since they first came out..

I use a bench vice.... I may have done about one hundred of them..
on the 1/12 pan car.. saddle packs and for the motor... 1/10 pan car was just the battery pack.
1/4 scale was for the receiver battery.

The V2 looks useful. I have had this for a few years

No issue with heat getting sucked out of the connector.

I like how it can hold the wire above a bullet with the clip arm.

I use one of these also. Great for holding connectors.
