Motor beeps when trying to calibrate with ESC
I have an RC10B6 Club Racer that I couldn't get the ESC (Reedy 600z) to calibrate with, so I got a Dynamite Tazer 6-pole sensorless with an ESC and that also doesn't calibrate with the ESC, and emits a beeping two or three times a second. These are all attached to a Sanwa RX-482 receiver and MT-S transmitter and an Orion 3200 mah 2S LiPo. Has anyone else encountered issues like this before? I really have no idea what I'm doing wrong. And yes, the steering servo works!

On the radio make sure the throttle trim and sub trim are at zero. Make sure the throttle and brake end points are at 100%. Make sure the throttle channel is not reversed.

For giggles I tried to see if it worked without calibrating it, and it did! But I'm not sure why...

Even though the ESC works, it is still detecting some sort of throttle signal from the receiver, even though I've hit everything I can think of to make sure that's not the case. Is anyone aware of a non-obvious setting on a Sanwa MT-S that might cause this?
Thank you. |
