Almost new Toro TS120 BEC failure.

So I ran this esc for about an hour, until I figured out it would not work sensored with a 4 pole motor...

And I pulled it off the truck, stuck it in it's box, and hadn't touched it for about two months. Bought a new 2 pole motor to use on my son's race slash, hooked it all up, plugged it in, no power to the receiver. Switched it around, nothing. Got out the meter and checked for voltage, .086v out.

Anyone else had this happen? Any idea why this would happen? I am kinda surprised.

Thanks.

Been a few years since I last ran a Toro... in fact I used to run the TS120 ESC's in a lot of my cars, but they proved to be too unreliable for me :(
Typically they would start to fail after taking too hard of a landing from a jump, then pretty much anything you can imagine might go wrong, failed BEC, glitching, run away's, etc...

Maybe that's why they're so cheap??

Not a big deal, I paid seventy bucks for it new, and I have other ESC's. I was just kinda shocked that it would fail with so little use.
