So I used my m17 for the first time at pnb. I have the 491 in my truggy that came with the radio and a 481 receiver in my buggy. I had no problems. I bound my ebuggy at local race to one of my other 481 receivers. All of a sudden both my nitro buggy and ebuggy act like they aren’t bound. I rebind them everything works fine. Everytime I would turn the radio off it was like they lost bind to the radio. I get home clear the the ebuggy model and everything acts ok. I go back a few days later and same thing no bind but the truggy with the 491 is fine it doesn’t lose bind. If turn buggy on and off and radio it will eventually act like it’s bound. I don’t know what to do this only happened after I added the second 481 receiver. Any suggestions ?

I’ve rebound them they work fine they don’t lose bind during operation. If I sit and turn radio off and buggy off and on they will eventually connect. When I turn the radio off and buggies off and go back and hour later or day later it’s like they need to be rebound.

it doesnt effect the 491 receiver. I’ve always turned the radio on first on every brand I’ve owned. Yeah it seems if I turn buggy on first and then radio there is more of a chance it connecting. Once they are connected there isn’t any problems but I can’t be fooling with this at races. I did a factory reset last night. It didn’t seem to help anything. I don’t know what else to do at this point. I contacted who I bought it from they contacted Sanwa but I think they are out for the week on a holiday.

Does anybody know if Sanwa is going to make a hardshell case for the M17? If they are, any idea when it will come out?

Pelican makes the most bombproof case. Choose the depth size to fit the steering wheel angle you are using. The case will outlast your radio and cost considerably less.

https://www.pelican.com/us/en/produc...protector/1400 For my normal travel case.
https://www.pelican.com/us/en/produc...protector/1450 For radio + additionl equipment
The liner system is TrekPack that I reused from my photo equipment. One day, Ill update the insert.
Here is the pic of the1400, if you use an extender or wheel module angle you will need the 1450 case.
