The big question is which servos are compatible with SSR or SUR.
For my knowledge I would love for you to verify this and perform a rebind on SSR and report your findings. I have an SRT BH8015 here and I just verified this again. After rebinding on SSR mode the servo instantly goes to full lock right and locks there. On normal and SHR modes it works flawless

As far as other brands being SSR mode compatible there really is very few. Both of my company’s 1/8 specific servos will be as well as the 1/10 low profile and full size servos, they are all brushless and have special pcb’s. The 1/12 specific will not be SSR due to the lightweight coreless motor and pcb. I expect all of the ones I am releasing except the 1/12 to be SUR compatible as well but until I have my hands on an M17 and perform testing I will not advertise this.

Definitely an M17 thread but have been working extremely hard to bring my fellow racers something great that will be available around the time of their new purchase.

Brian, maybe you should start a dedicated thread for your servos?

I definitely will once the time is right and am officially ready to launch the corporation. Didn’t think that it would hurt to talk about them on here since they are being manufactured towards a specific Sanwa system that most on the market are not compatible with. With that being said I am waiting for my M17 to arrive like most people in here and hope that all of the initial bugs are worked out with the radios.

Tried to rebind as you said, the servo moved and freezed. This only happens when you do it this way.
If I bind with a sanwa ssr compatible servo and then change to a srt servo I still have ssr but the servo don't act the same as in your method. This is just my findings, not a scientific test.
As I said before, which servos are ssr/sur compatible is more of intrest I think.

Thanks for trying this and posting your results. I honestly can’t imagine a SRT working in SSR mode any way that is attempted. They definitely don’t have the pcb for it. I will try this tomorrow for my own knowledge with a Sanwa SRG and some different new SRT’s that I happen to have here. To answer your last question besides Sanwa’s SRG and PGS there is very few that I know of that are capable. KO has a couple and I believe Highest might have one or two as well. I can’t say that if these just happen to work or have been manufactured to work properly. There is some similarities in the pcb’s but not exactly the same. By the above posts I am not allowed to mention this but to answer your question fully PRO PERFORMANCE RC servos are currently being manufactured to be SSR mode compatible. SUR is currently too new to say at this time to know what is all compatible and will be studied

I posted a chart a couple pages back from Sanwa that showed that their SRG line would not be compatible with SUR mode only their PGS. I personally like a faster transit than what the PGS line offers in all of my cars.

I've reported all of Brian's post promoting his company as it violates forums rules. You want to promote your company, become a spondsor.

Also, as many have states, stop spamming the M17 thread and GTFO.

My last 2 posts were discussing all compatible servos to take full advantage of this radio and to answer specific questions. To me it doesn’t make sense to spend the money on this system and not take full advantage of its offerings.
