Is it me or does the new receiver looks pretty small?

The M17 is so gorgeous :-)

It does indeed look amazing after seeing those pictures! But I have to say I will need to see some feedback from people as to how that touch pad/screen holds up. I know Sanwa is a premium brand but I've seen high end touch pads work really well or really bad. I still prefer a nice mechanical button layout myself lol

So from what I can gather: slicker, lighter, SD card capable, not necessarily faster but more expensive than M12S.

Well Sanwa is calling this ultra responsive so I think faster as well

What's up with the external antenna!? I'm guessing this is a marketing move and the wireless receivers will be an aftermarket option.

20% faster if the Japanese video is accurate. Quite a few people are already dialing-back their M12s because they find them a bit too quick for comfort. The extra speed may be welcome in on-road, but probably overkill for off-road.

Some of us are slowing them down for onroad as well.

You still want it to respond to your input as fast as possible... now if you want that action after the response to be a bit lazy thatís fine. I feel like people get this confused all the time

20% faster response sounds great. Gonna need a version of that receiver without an antenna though.

I just don't know what the difference will actually be if they were already sitting at 2ms latency. Is it going to have predictive response or something? lol

Simple math would bring it down to 1.6ms. I'm sure they're working on Preemptive Signal Response for the M22. Radio will tap into the immediate future timeline and inputs commands before you even think them

Even if 20% is a significant response gain, I don't think even the best drivers will be able to tell the difference.

It's nice that at least they are somehow finding ways to make it even faster but I agree I don't think there is going to be a difference in the feel at all. I still totally want it though if the touch pad turns out to work well in the long run
