So, are there rumors of a new upgraded version coming? Im looking to make a jump to an m17 and am wondering if I should be waiting a few months.

Couple questions.

Can each model run under different protocols? For instance, one model is FHSS5 and one is 4? Assuming receiver compatability of course.

Was there any clarity on the 491 vs 493 receiver? Both say short antenna, but I know one is 100mm and I'm not sure on the other. Most kits seems to come with the 493 now. The 491 is often cheaper.

Hello out there in Sanwa/Airtronics World! How can I access the latest firmware for an Airtronics M12 or M12S radio? I've looked all over the Sanwa site, can't seem to find anything.

I own, both, a brand-new M12 and M12S radio. Never used or powered-ON.

Appreciate very much any help.

regards,
Dave

A friend of mine bought an M17 thr other day and it didn't come with a battery. I was like WTF, because mine did. Anyone else purchase one recently and not get a battery?

Where did they order it from? Some places remove the battery due to laws around shipping LiPos.

interesting....

I'm curious, does Sanwa include the PC Link, data transfer cable, in the M17 package?

No. But it's a simple USB to Micro-USB cable - you can get that almost anywhere. Never used that for PC link or data transfer, just for charging... (firmware updates, for example require an SD-card - and make sure to get the right specs on that)
