M11 2.4 gHz range
 

I picked up a M11 from here with the 2.4 gHz module and 3 receivers. I haven't really noticed any problems indoors while racing until the last race where I lost the ability to do anything with the car (internal antenna wire broke on the module). I have since replaced that with a new one, but have noticed outside at my house the range with all of the receivers is pretty bad. The end of my driveway < 200 feet away I lose connection with the car.

Any idea what the expected range should be? I know with the DX3R that I have it goes a long ways, even RTR radios that I have seem to have far better range than this M11. I am bummed as I really like the transmitter.

Bump, I put up a post on wanted looking for a new 2.4 ghz module to go in the M11. I have some spektrum receivers also SR310 and SR301 so I think a spektrum sr1000 or sr1001 might work in the radio?
