Motor analyzer issues

I just bought a Motiv 17.5 and the ABC motor tabs are tight to the can so I get my alligator clips on. Any suggestions on how to clip this this up

Solder some spare motor wires to the motor tabs then clip on the end of them?

Smaller clips?

automotive insulated connector female at depot but soldering a wire on will be less resistance

Don't use spades like the pic above. Do what what post number two says. Solder wires to the motors.

When analysing a motor I always solder 3.5mm bullets on which I can then plug straight into the unit (Motolyser or Sky RC style checker) Using the alligator clips doesn't always work well.
