Reedy 1216 c questions
 

Ok so I just recently picked up a used 1216c. First question is should the cooling fans run all the time? I charged the first battery today and they never once kicked on. Charger did get alittle warm but not very hot imo. Also is there anything I need to do to get USB port to work? Mine doesn't wanna seem to charger my phone. Thanks

What amperage are you charging at? Charging a battery at most any amp setting above 1 amp will kick on the fans at some point in time.

No special settings to get USB port to work.

not familiar with this charger but i will give some advice.. Usb on many chargers are know to fail.. many just come lose internally where they are soldered on main board check the connections.. no fan always on in main menu in setup?.. id check voltage to fans or safer remove fan check what voltage its at 6v 12v or whatever then put 1/2 that voltage to removed fan to check that its still good..many fail after short time of use or if charger was dropped even in shipping box..
