How does that charger stack up to a Hitec X2?

It would be a bit slower than the Hitec X2 Pro as it can do 20amps on a single channel but it should be on par or faster than the Hitec X2 Plus when charging 2s lipos.

Reaktor 250 does a true 10 amps, whereas others claim 10 amps, but... not quite there. This requires a power supply. Recommend HP 750 which can be had for $17 shipped all day. Will need a simple mod to get it ready.

The only time amperage would be limited on any charger is if it didn't have the proper wattage for the cell count you're charging. 10 amps is 10 amps as far as I am aware. It's generally in the balance cycle that things differ from charger to charger.

The 7PX goes for $699. With a Tower discount of $60, $640. The M12S can be had for $432, both with one Rx. The M12RS can be had for less and is just as good as the M12S.

planning to get the 7PX but I saw most winners competing in ETS are using Sanwa's. Wonder if there is a reason.

Euro Touring Series

The only reason I think is that Sanwa likes to give transmitters away to famous drivers, probably only as advertising which seems to work because most people here does advise Sanwa

why wouldn't a so called pro non radio sponsored user use any radio there given 4 free..I was given a radio n rx.. i used it .. I also used many brands don't like most.. Ex10 was best b4 my sponsors radio gear..

I personally didn’t like the way the M12s felt in my hand. I found the 7PX to be much more comfortable. Plenty of people are winning with all different kinds of radios.

Hello Friends,

As far as I know, Ty Tessmann is not a Sponsored by Sanwa/Airtronics Factory. Once He was trying Futaba for a very short while and prefer to go back to Sanwa..

Cheers.. :)

Both are good get the one that feels better in your hands. Comfort is the most important thing as they are both fast and good quality. Both have millions of adjustments. It is personal preference only. I use an MT-44 mostly but have an M12s waiting at home as a backup. The MT-44 is fast and also feels light and comfortable in my hands. I would go ask around and feel others transmitters at the track and find the most comfortable one.

Keep in mind that drivers like Collari and Groskamp but also many other big names on an higher age drive with sticks. The KO Esprit is a bit outdated and the latest Futaba T4GRS may be an awesome transmitter but does not feel nor has the looks of a professional transmitter. Then the Sanwa Exces-Z is the most decent of them all.

Using RF-902S module (Direct Digital System) D.D.S
Normal 8.0ms
Super 6.0ms
Advanced 4.0ms
THIS IS THE KO PROPO DDS.... did my homework, standard ko propo was 16-08ms....food for thought as humans react at 200ms....

platgof 04-15-2018 06:33 PM

I looked at the pro stand at a big race and not one 7PX. I guess the pros will stick to their (free) radios. No pro would use an inferior radio just because it was free, not happening. They have a ton invested to use a non comp radio.

There are only about 12-15 Pro Sponsored drivers for Sanwa in the world. Meaning ones they give the radio to for free from Sanwa direct. There are not many of them!
