Hi again platgof Have your manual with you and please take your time , those options are a bit finicky on sanwa ESC's , The first 4 modes are not programmable remotely .
Please download the manual of the previous generation if you don't have the program box .
SANWA
the first 4 modes are : MODE 1 (Cut-Off Voltage) . MODE 2 (Reverse) By default it's disabled you need to get into this mode to activate it .
MODE 3 (Thermal Protection)ESC and motor over-heat protection. Requires motor be equipped with temperature sensor.
I always change this setting to option 3 since it gives me more headroom when your motor as a temp sensor otherwise when you race your car will shutdown for no good reason. (please take motor temps) and adjust to your liking.
and the last one MODE 4 (Boost) .
Good luck

I really don't need reverse when racing and it is fast enough as is without boost. I put it in my DESC210R SCT. I will probably put it in my B5FL later on, or a B6.1. I really appreciate your insight, thanks.

I ended up switching to a hobby wing XR10. The current settings I am using are better then the settings I was using on the sanwa. I think the sanwa needs few more adjustments like throttle and break frequency. But It's a good esc for sure

These soldering posts are impossible to hold wire. I bought the best paste and solder and they still came loose on me, no more sanwa esc's for me. What a POS. Going back to the RSX and staying there.

I will stick with their radios, all else goes in the trash.Already ordered an RSX to replace, something that I can program and have running in a few minutes, no card needed that doesn't work either. Whens the last time you saw Sanwa support??????

Sad to hear the bad news Platgof. The same thing happened to me the first time I used this ESC but I was glad I used Heat-shrink on each wire to protect from shorts.
I ran mine in my B64D with 6.0T ( Muchmore Fleta zx ) motor and the soldering held all winter and this summer also with a lot of heat outside with no overheating ( this thing runs really cool with the supplied fan)
good luck with your RSX they are really good ESC with the new firmware that Tekin have release lately and the BEC on this esc is also stronger and supports 7.4volts .

Never needed it lol. I had zero problems with my sanwa vortex and mt44. Once again sorry you had problems but I don't think its the norm. I have a tech background so dealing with their website and upgrade process wasn't that hard for me.

I am having great results with Tekin in my AE buggies right now, and they have proven so reliable. I was really hoping Sanwa could take the abuse, oh well. I still think the M12S is the best radio ever, not going anywhere soon.
