Hobbywing help

So I have a 3650g2 and need a sensorboard for it. Hobbywing does not have any for sale. They said they would have to physically remove one from a new motor and wouldn’t do that. Come on guys.... No spare parts? Anyone got a lead on one?

If you contact Hobbywingdirect they may be able to get you a new sensor board. But you will most likely need to fill out an RMA service request and send the motor back in to be serviced. They have a really good turn around time. This is all under the assumption that you have already asked hobbywingdirect and we’re toldthey have no parts for this motor.

Yes

Called and talked to hw direct, I don’t want a replacement or warranty stuff, I just want to buy another board or 2.

Unfortunately that’s your only options I believe. I had a similar issue an sent it in and just ordered another motor to run in the meantime. In fact I still have my warranty motor in the new package as my replacement has yet to need anything.

Quote straight from Hobbywingdirect: G2 motor has designed so that Hall sensor is integrated with the main frame ( fail safe, non-replaceable)
