Default ProMatch Racing Lipo Battery

Anybody tried this?
Specs looks amazing and the price too.
Product pages for Pro-Match Racing's rc lipo packs rechargable batteries

I ran their their 2s 4600 mah 100c shorty hard case "plug-in" lipo pack a few months back. Problem was the case cracked easily.

I've been use'n one since August in 17.5 buggy. I've been very pleased, lots of pop only charging at 20amps, plenty of volts left at the end of a run. Picked up another for 13.5 wheeler.

Not sure why it still says approval pending, its on the roar list as approved Sept. 17.

if your club allows it, I would run their 6000mAh LiHV shorty.... the main club in my area is only concerned with the voltage and verifies max 8.4V just before the mains.

1.6 mOhm/cell +/- charging at 20amps at room temperature on a icharger 406. I don't do any discharge cycling or high amp charging, I've not really had the need but its on my radar.

The boxes mine came with stickers claiming 1.68/1.72 for my one pack and 1.76/1.82 for the other from pro-match.

that's not bad. I wonder if you cycle it if it can go lower. discharge/charge cyle 30A discharge and charge at 20A. .... 2 cycles. I've had good results with 2 cycles 30A discharge / 30A charge with my old SMC 4000mah. It's been 1.5 years and they can go down to 1.8 ohm

yes.. club races in my area are not strict when it comes to battery voltage. Big races are a different story.

I'm sure manipulating pack heat by cycle'n or charge'n at higher amps is going to reduce the pack IR. I'm just getting real good power out of the pack not doing anything special or anything that stresses the pack.
