Default Set Up Guide

I seem to find a lot of information about suspension theory. Like changing the links affects roll center and so on.
What I am trying to find is a sheet that is similar to this dirt bike guide. Something that describes a symptom then gives things to change first. Does anything like this exist?

I have a number of setup guides and none of them are setup to be used as a troubleshooting guide. Is there anything in particular that you need help with or just desire that method vice what's out there?

No, I think Hudy put it out.. I found it on this message board awhile back and saved it myself.

I am just looking for "that meathod" over what is out there. I use the one I attached a lot for dirt bikes and it makes sense to me. I just cant seem to find anything like that for RC.

The chart that champa attached is close to what I am looking for. Instead of it saying raise and lower roll center I'd like to see "raise the inner ball stud for this" or "raise the outer for that".

I hope that explanation makes sense.

Xray has a Set-Up Tip Sheet, that has most of the info you are asking about. They have them for each model year, but most of the info is relavent to most RC cars.

Are you talking about the set up sheets for their individual cars? Or the Hudy Set Up guide that is on their website?

The JQ Racing set up guide has some pretty good info, there's guides for his own buggies but also a general buggy guide which is worth a read.

Xray has an actual Tip Sheet that explains, in simple terms, how a change (shims, caster, camber.....whatever) will affect the handling. It is only 2 pages. I printed it out and laminated it, for easy reference.

That sounds real close to what I am looking for too. Is there a link? I didn't notice anything like that on their website.

I just did a google search. It was on the PetiteRC website. Try "Xray T4 Set Up Helper"

I think if I combine this "Set Up Helper" with cHAmpa's attached table then it will get me what I am after. It just wont be as clean as the dirt bike guide I am used to.
