A low-cost racing alternative always helps...a spectator does not want to hear it costs in excess of $1,000 to start racing...you can purchase an RTR Mini for less than $300 and have a blast racing.
Our goal should be to use these high-profile races to attract all levels of competition, not limited to just the hard core racers...
What do you think???

Also, I would think the mini's would traction roll all over the place on carpet. Especially with how soft they are usually set up.

Why would a heat of rubber tire Mini's, (which are so underpowered) ruin the track conditions for the next heat of racers????
That makes no sense....at the ICC World (or what ever it was called) they ran both foam and rubber tire sedan (19T & modified) and this was not an issue.
Traction rolling is all part of the fun racing Mini Coopers...The secret to winning is keeping the suckers on all 4's.
Besides, if we decide to run TCS rules, instead of box stock, your allowed to use stiffer springs, so long as they are from Tamiya.

I remember WAY back when Yokomo had a spec series and you had to run rubber tires. The Track was part of that series and I remember Mimi talking about how the rubber tires are harder on the carpet.
She already has a bald spot developing at the end of the straight.
