Wondering, what seems to be the speed wall on 6s? with 1/8's such as gtp etc..
Anyone surpass 150 on 6s?

Yes 150's has been done on 6s by a few people. i would say that mid 150s is prob. the max on 6s.

This is my goal for 2017, to hit 160 mph on 6 cell and 170 mph on 8 cell! I've only tinkered a few times with 6 and managed to hit 144-146 but that was also with my 8 cell motor! I have hit 165 twice on 8 cell and 157 quite a few times now on 7 cell, I'm positive I'll hit 160 with 7cell but the goal is to do it with 6!

Nice looking buggy, I would definitely recommend running an external cap pack, especially with the mm2/mmx

Thanks, man. It's actual an old hobby wing 150a.
Cap pack is stuck right behind it

never ran a castle ESC, I have an ezrun max 6 coming in the mail. Not running 8s but I want to have the headroom and stress it less.

Nice buggy man. I personally never had very good luck with Hobbywing ESCs. Pretty sure you will need to switch to a Castle ESC if you want to see any serious speeds. Good luck.

Thanks, I've had good luck with them so far. I went with it years back because it was 150a as opposed to the 120a of the castle. What's the limitation on the hw that would affect speed? The newer mmx up to the task? I was trying to find an XL2 recently.
